Autosalvageconsultant.com was started by Ron Sturgeon in 2001 to help recyclers improve their businesses. Mike Gibson and Tammy Sturgeon joined Ron in 2003, bringing a wealth of experience and resources to the team, as there have been more requests for Ron’s help than he could meet. With over 50 years of experience among 3 staff members, the group is THE definitive source for recyclers’ management and training needs. Ron Sturgeon is past owner of AAA Small Car World, which had six locations in Texas and 140 employees. Ron later sold AAA to Greenleaf, which he joined in June 2003. In 2001, he founded North Texas Insurance Auction and sold it to Copart in 2002. Ron published “Salvaging Millions,” a book to help small auto salvage business owners achieve significant success. The book was recently reprinted and published in Chinese. Aside from being senior vice president at Greenleaf, Ron finds time to manage his real estate holdings and investments. Watching the
sausage being made Another description of an unpleasant
task. This is a metaphor for anything you don’t want to be present
for, or witness. You want others to do this. I don’t know anything
about making sausage, but I have images of what goes in, all the
leftovers, etc, and everyone always told me that if I could see what
was involved, I would never eat sausage again. Use: Ted told his team he did not want to participate in the early negotiations, it was too much like watching the sausage being made, and he would wait for the second round of negotiations when he could add value. If you received this email from a friend and are not on our list, then please register to receive the weekly Green Weenie. Each week you will receive your own GW term and cartoon by Gahan Wilson.
